World Book Day 2019

On Thursday 7th March, Moorhouse Primary School had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day. Across school, the children took part in a range of activities and enjoyed working with different teachers whilst doing so. Prizes were awarded for the Best Dressed in assembly, and our local librarian, Ray Stern, presented an animated tale of the Fox and the Crow to the whole school. The older children read to the younger children, and all classes enjoyed hearing their Mystery Reader. Classes also competed in a 'Decorate a Door' competition, where doors were designed to represent book covers. It was a brilliant day. Well done to all of the teachers and children for their hard work!
