Monday - To listen to a poem In today's lesson, we will listen to a poem and have a chance to act it out. We will then answer some questions on it. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.

Tuesday - Rhyming Words Today, we will be identifying rhyming words and working out which words rhyme and which words do not. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.

Wednesday - Onomatopoeia Today, we will be learning about onomatopoeia so that we can include it in our poems that we write on Friday. The lesson is bound to go off with a BANG!

Thursday - Planning a poem Today, we will be drawing a poetry plan so that we are ready to write in Lesson 5. You will need a piece of plain paper and a pencil

Friday - Writing a poem Today is the day, we are going to write our Magic Wand poems. You will need your plan from yesterday, a piece of paper and a pencil.

To create repeated patterns In today’s lesson, we will be learning about patterns and how to create them. Today’s artwork will be inspired by an incredible artist called William Morris. His work work includes wallpaper design and print, furniture, stained glass windows, tiles and tapestries. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil to create a wonderful piece of artwork.

Games Apart In today's lesson, we'll be exploring and learning how to play some outdoor games in the current climate. Transmission of germs will be touched upon as well as the importance of social distancing during the teachings of the games. We will run through the rules of each game introduced and then practise playing them with our families and friends. Each game will support children’s physical, personal, emotional and social wellbeing.
